Postdoctoral position

Richard Kibbey M.D., Ph.D. at Yale University School of Medicine is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral position to study the role of mitochondrial GTP in metabolism. Emphasis will be given to candidates with prior experience with metabolism and/or islet/beta-cell studies or a background in electrophysiology, mitochondrial metabolism or other optical or molecular techniques. Training opportunities include state-of-the-art stable isotope mass spectroscopic analysis of metabolism as well as in vivo rodent studies.

The laboratory of Dr. Peter Antinozzi has a post-doctoral position available. Desired expertise includes prior work with islets/pancreatic beta-cell lines and experience with gene expression and knockdown methods.
